Is your software invisible to AI search?

A free AI visibility check. See exactly how you show up when buyers ask ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini for the best tool in your category. No account, about thirty seconds.

We’ve measured 122 companies this way. 83% of the scores the engines gave them didn’t survive a second run.

3 engines · 3 buyer-style questions · 9 checks

What this AI visibility check actually looks at

Your buyers have stopped opening ten blue links. They ask an assistant, and they act on the answer.

So we ask it the same way they do. You give us your company and your category, we put three buyer-style questions to three engines, and we show you the answers word for word. Nine checks in total. If a competitor comes up instead of you, you see which one and what the engine said about them.

Nothing to install, no account. You get the raw answers.

What your score means

The score is simply how many of the nine checks named your company.

A zero is the normal result. In the categories we’ve published, most vendors score zero. That isn’t a sign something is broken at your company. It means the engines have no source connecting your name to your category, and that is a fixable problem.

What matters more than the number is who came up instead of you.

One run is not a measurement

This is the part most tools in this space won’t tell you, and it applies to this page too.

83%
of the scores the engines gave, across 122 companies and four phrasings, did not come back on a repeat run. Same question, same day, different answer.

Which is why the checker above runs each question once and says so. Run it twice and your score can move. That isn’t a bug on our end, it’s what these systems actually do, and any tool showing you a single number without saying so is selling you a snapshot of something that flickers.

The same company, measured two ways

The free checker above
9 checks
3 questions × 3 engines, run once. Fast, free, and it can flicker.
What we publish
36 checks
4 phrasings × 3 engines, run three times, discarding anything that doesn’t hold.

A number that can’t reproduce isn’t worth acting on. So treat the score above as a first look. It’s honest about being one.

Why your company might be invisible

The engines answer from sources. If nothing they trust names you in your category, you can’t be the answer, however good the product is.

  • You describe what you do in your own language, not the words buyers use
  • The roundups and comparison pages the engines quote don’t include you
  • Your competitors are named on pages you’ve never looked at
  • Your own site says what you sell but never says what category you’re in

A zero is almost never a content volume problem. Companies with hundreds of published pages score zero all the time.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. No account, no card. We email you the full results.

Perplexity, ChatGPT and Gemini. Three buyer-style questions to each, nine checks in total.

About thirty seconds. It’s querying three live engines, not looking anything up in a database.

Because a source the engine trusts names them in your category and doesn’t name you. Your results show which competitor and, where we can capture it, the exact sentence the engine used.

It’s common. Most vendors in the categories we’ve measured score zero. It’s a starting point, not a verdict.

Not on its own, and we’d rather say so. See above. 83% of the scores we measured didn’t reproduce on a second run.

Yes. We measure AI visibility for B2B software companies and work on fixing it. The check is free either way and there’s no call attached to it.

What to do with a zero

Three options, in order of how much of your time they cost.

Check it yourself. Everything here is reproducible. Open a fresh session, ask those three questions, see what comes back. Ten minutes.

Watch the category instead of your own score. Your number barely moves month to month. What moves is who’s being named and which pages the engines started quoting. That’s the Watchlist: your category measured every month, $249/mo.

Get it fixed. If AI search matters to how your buyers find software, we do this as an engagement. That starts with a conversation, not a contract.
